The purpose of this experiment is to find out what cat litter absorbs the most water. To carry out this experiment you need a turkey baster, water, 9 cups for the trials, and the three kinds of cat litter. There should be three cups to each container of cat litter. Each cup should have five holes in the bottom of them. Then fill the cups up to the top line and make sure they are all the same. Then fill the turkey baster with water and let the water out into the first cup. Do this with all of the cups for the first trial, then for the second and the third. Measure in ml how much water was not absorbed the record it.
After this experiment was completed, it was found that Tidy Cats was the victor over the two competitors which were Scoop Away and Fresh Step. In total at the end Fresh Step let out 6400 ml, Tidy Cats 3200 ml, and Scoop Away 9900 ml. This makes Scoop Away last.
