The purpose of this experiment was to see which battery works better and in which time situation. To carry out the experiment three different brands of batteries were bought, Duracell Ultra, Energizer, and Rayovac. Along with the batteries a certain flashlight was used. Two tests were designed and each test had three trials for each kind of battery. The first test consisted of timing how long the flashlight lasted. The second test consisted of turning the flashlight on for 10 hours, off for 10 hours, and then turned on again to run out. This was also timed.
When the experiment was completed, it was found out that the first tests time situation was better then the second, contrary to the research done. The battery that lasted the longest was Duracell Ultra. The second best battery was Energizer and the last battery was Rayovac.
