The purpose of this experiment was to see if household products get out rug stains. To carry out this experiment a cup of coffee and a cup of hot cocoa were made and other stains substances were bought. To test all the stains a specific white rug size was bought. The stain sizes varied. All the staining products were placed in different spots. When the stain remover was added to the stain, the stain came up as much as it could. The measurements on how well the stains came out were on a scale from one to ten, ten being the most stain removal.

After finishing the experiment, it was found that the coffee stain was the most removed. It was nine-point five on the scale and the least on the scale was one. The hot cocoa stain remover turned the stain a different color. The hot cocoa was not the most efficient stain removed.
