The Effects of Wind on Plant Growth
The purpose of this experiment was to find the effects of wind stimulation on the growth of Swedish ivy plants. To carry out this experiment a green house and a fan were used, also two groups of plants were used the control and the experimental. The experimental group had a fan blown on it for two hours every day. After six weeks of growth a micrometer was used to measure the leaf thickness and a metric ruler was used to measure the length of the plant. After completing this experiment it was found that the lengths of the plants in the experimental group (18.34cm) were taller but the plants in the control group had thicker leaves (2.91mm)
