The Effects of Different Deteregents on How Clothes Fade

My experiment is to test which laundry detergent fades clothes the most. Four detergents, Era, Cheer, Tide and genuardi's brand will be used. I believe Era, the cheapest detergent, will fade clothes the least and Tide, the most effective, will fade clothes the most.
At the end of the 15 washes I found that Era faded theleast, followed by Cheer, followed by Genuardi's, and finally Tide. Era showed signs of slight fading, Cheer showed signs of slight fading; level 2, Genuardi's showed signs of slight fading; level 3, and Tide with slight fading; level 4. After doing my project I concluded that Era faded clothes the least amount and Tide faded clothes the most. I do accept both my original hypothesis's. For future experiment I hypothesis that using double, triple, or even quadruple the amount of washes will make the results more accurate.
