This experiment was done to find the most effective type of water to use for watering radishes.
Twelve pots of equal amounts of soil were planed with equal amounts of radish seeds. The pots were then divided into four groups three, and each group was labeled with either
HARD, SOFT, CARBONATED, or SALT water. Every day for a month the plants were watered with the type of water that they were marked with. At the end of the month the measurements were taken and averaged for each type of water.
The plants watered with the hard water grew the tallest. The soft water ones grew the second tallest. The plants watered with the carbonated water grew the next tallest, and the ones watered with salt water did not grow at all.
