As a final project after a long year of learning lots of grammar, especially verb tenses, your class, Spanish 2 Honors, will produce various children's storybooks. These books will be modeled after some of the story/legends that you read in class this year. You will be assigned to work in groups of two or three and each group will make a book and illustrated it. The hard copies will then be scanned and reproduced to create web books and posted on our story page. After which you will have the opportunity to read your stories to the students of the three second grade classes at GA.

  1. Each student will be assigned to work in groups of two or three.
  2. The children's story will contain at least 75 words.
  3. The students will word process the written portion of the story.
  4. Once the story is spell checked and grammatically corrected and graded by the teacher, it will be prepared for web publishing through the use of Page Mill.
  5. The story will be accompanied by various illustrations that communicate and compliment the written word.
The illustrations will also be scanned and converted to GIF format using Fireworks.
  6. The story must have a title.
  7. The final project will be two-fold: a hard book copy and a Page Mill version for the web.
  8. Once you story has been published, you will give a brief oral presentation (2 3 minutes) to your peers.
  9. You will then have the opportunity to read your stories to the students of the three second grade classes at GA.
