The purpose of this podcast is to review basic pre-algebra concepts in order to prepare students for the final examination.  Students were assigned topics including operations with fraction, decimals and integers, order of operations, equation solving, graphing, ratio and proportion.  Each student initially prepared a rough draft of a script that reviewed a specific concept.  The scripts were reviewed for content and returned to the student for rehearsal at home and during class. Students were recorded with the help of our curricular technology specialist, Carol Siwinski, over the course of a few class periods.  Upon completion of the project students received feedback via a rubric that evaluated the content and delivery of their script.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to hearing the podcast.
