Each spring, the students in 2J "meet" (on page) an Author of the Week. After learning a little about the life of the celebrated author, they choose a book to read by that author and write a brief book review. The reviews tell just enough to arouse the curiosity of the reader, who may want to read that particular book or another book by the same author. All the book reviews are displayed and shared in the classroom and some are featured in the podcast "Author's Corner."
