On August 31, the Class of 2030, along with their Prefects, senior leaders, advisors, and House Heads, spent the day together at Camp Kweebec in Schwenksville.

Betsy Duryea '75 has spend 47 years nurturing Germantown Academy's youngest learners, but her connection to GA began long before she ever stepped into the classroom as a teacher. 

Congratulations to recent graduate Yobosa Idahosa '26 on receiving the prestigious Green Family Foundation scholarship in recognition of her thoughtful vision for using engineering to create meaningful change in underserved communities.

The scholarship required applicants to answer the question, "How do you plan on using your college education to give back to your community?" Idahosa's essay impressed the selection committee with its clear sense of purpose, personal connection, and commitment to expanding opportunities through engineering.

During the school year, each Middle School grade enjoyed venturing off campus to explore destinations both near and far. These trips connected directly to the curriculum students were studying while also giving them the opportunity to strengthen friendships and build lasting memories. It was a great way to embrace experiential learning.

Germantown Academy graduate Zoe Shu '26 has been named a college-sponsored National Merit Scholar, earning recognition as one of the nation’s highest-achieving students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Jet Dickerson '26 has been awarded $15,000 in prestigious AAU scholarships, earning national recognition for his outstanding achievements in athletics, academics, and leadership while joining an elite group of the country's top student-athletes.
