Middle School JV Boys Tennis

Coach Dolan has been teaching and coaching at GA for 15 years. In this time, he has coached in the Upper and Middle School, covering basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and tennis. While coaching Upper School basketball, Mr. Dolan helped guide the team to three straight Inter-Ac titles and a PAISAA state title. As MS Football coach, he led the team to the Inter-Ac Championship in 2021.

Coach Buckman has coached many seasons of boys and girls tennis during her 10-years teaching art at GA. As a multisport HS athlete, playing lacrosse, soccer, basketball, and swimming, Coach Buckman was a standout tennis player, leading her high school team to four consecutive NJ State Championships. She went on to play tennis at UNC Wilmington and continues to play as an adult. She also enjoys running and has completed four half marathons and a marathon.

Coach Commale has coached many sports during his 14 years as a MS math teacher. He helped to elevate MS water polo from a club to varsity sport and has also coached tennis, boys lacrosse, swimming, and boys soccer. A baseball and basketball player in his playing days, Coach Commale has led very successful seasons for his MS teams.

Coach DiFranco has been coaching water polo at GA for 18 seasons. He has also coached swimming, robotics, and tennis during his 21-year tenure as a MS science teacher. A three-sport athlete in high school, Coach DiFranco played football, basketball, and baseball and remains committed to overall health and fitness.

In addition to leading the MS Physical Education department, Coach Retif has coached softball, volleyball, tennis, and basketball at GA. During her tenure as GA’s Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach, her teams amassed over 500 victories and won 20 Inter-Ac Titles. She is an inductee of the Halls of Fame of Germantown Academy, Montgomery County, and her alma mater, Tulane University, where she starred in basketball and volleyball.
