Students participated in the annual 8th Grade Science Fair where they learned how scientific research requires both patience and creativity! The Science Fair showcases students’ work on an independent research project that they developed throughout the year. They go through a topic selection process and learn how to find background research from many sources. Students then design their own procedures and collect data which is then analyzed in order to form conclusions.

“It was the first year our students made tri-fold boards to present their projects since the Pandemic.  We had a very successful open house where families and friends of GA were able to come and see the students discuss their projects in person!” said Middle School Science Department Head Cory Eklund.Awards were given in multiple categories.
